This time of year is great for reflection, and that’s what we’re doing at Midlab.
It’s been an amazing year for our customers and team members, and we’re incredibly proud of the progress we’ve all made together. From new roles to new innovations and process improvements, we hit the ground running this time last year with some BIG goals.
Now, as we look back on the year and all that we’ve accomplished, we’re summing up a few of our team’s favorite memories and milestones.

Attending the ISSA Show
It was a great show with an even better crew this year! We enjoyed seeing everyone at ISSA’s North American show in Chicago this past October and showcasing some of our latest products and innovations. If you missed us at the event, keep reading to learn more about what we’ve been up to.
Introducing the MAXIM® Floor Care Program
We’ve been working on something exciting for a while at Midlab, which we proudly debuted this year at ISSA. The new MAXIM Floor Care Program was created to simplify cleaning for crews with ONE innovative product line for many floor types. Because we know investing in a personalized floor care program is a great way to help minimize costs and avoid time-consuming daily cleaning and maintenance in the future.
Promotions, Retires, & New Hires
One of the most exciting changes for our team this year has been the addition and promotion of multiple employees! We’d like to take a moment to congratulate and recognize the following employees for their achievements:
- Jamey Gaston, 2022 new hire for the role of Technical Director
- Sam Langley promoted to Director of Supply Chain
- Jennifer Lee promoted to Director of Creative Services
- Travis Ross promoted to Customer Service & Inside Sales Manager
- Don Ellison promoted to Operations Manager
- Judy Arnold (Director of Customer Relations) retires after 23 years at Midlab
- Terry Hill (Line Leader) and Craig Dieter (Production Entry Administrator) retire after a combined 30 years at Midlab
Celebrating Holidays Midlab-Style
In addition to promoting from within and adding new faces to our team, we had a lot of fun this year! A big part of our company culture at Midlab is celebrating the holidays together, whether it’s a nationally-recognized day or just a good excuse for us to gather as a group.

Expressing Gratitude for Our Health & Safety
This year, we’re extra thankful to be celebrating the holidays together safely. We want to take a moment to recognize how far we’ve all come as a society. Today, we are in a much better place than we were in 2020 and our team is thrilled to see the state of the COVID-19 crisis improving every day.
In 2023, we’re looking forward to inching back into pre-pandemic life more and more—keeping in mind all the important lessons we’ve learned along the way, of course. As a team, it’s our sincere hope that all of our customers, vendors, and community members also find themselves heading into a safe, healthy, and happy new year as well.
